Client: Black Creek Community Farm
Sector: Nonprofit / Food Security / Community / Environmental Education

The Problem

Black Creek Community Farm needed a donor engagement and appeal video centred around its 2025 Farm Festival. The goal was to showcase the farm's energy, community impact, and importance while inviting donors and partners to support its mission.

The Strategic Challenge

Donors need to see more than a good event. They need to understand what their support makes possible. The video had to connect festival footage to the farm’s deeper mission: food security, youth programming, environmental education, access to fresh produce, and community resilience.

The Solution

BIGSIX MEDIA produced a donor appeal video built around live event storytelling, authentic community moments, and a purpose-driven voiceover. The film connected the festival's visible energy to the long-term value of supporting the farm’s work.

The Deliverables

Main donor appeal video, live event coverage, community b-roll, voiceover-led narrative, festival storytelling, and multi-platform content for fundraising events, email appeals, social media, and partner presentations.

The Outcome

The video gave Black Creek Community Farm a practical storytelling asset for donor engagement, partner development, fundraising, and community awareness. The portfolio describes it as a tool that strengthened donor relationships, attracted new supporters, and reinforced the farm’s role in food security, environmental education, and community resilience.
