Client: Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre
Sector: Nonprofit / Community Services / Donor Engagement

The Problem

The Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre needed a donor engagement video to reignite giving among existing supporters while attracting new funders. The organization needed to show the importance of its work across programs serving children, families, adults, and seniors.

The Strategic Challenge

The Centre’s work is broad and deeply community-based. The challenge was to communicate the full value of the organization without turning the video into a generic program overview. The video needed to feel personal, credible, and urgent enough to inspire donations, volunteering, and long-term support.

The Solution

BIGSIX MEDIA produced a concise donor engagement video featuring leadership, staff voices, community visuals, and a clear call to action. The story was built around the Centre’s role in meeting real community needs and creating meaningful impact in Jane-Finch.

The Deliverables

Main donor engagement video, leadership interview content, staff interview content, community impact visuals, fundraising/event-ready video asset, and social/email-friendly content.

The Outcome

The video helped communicate the Centre’s vital role in the community and supported donor engagement by presenting the mission through personal storytelling and impact-focused visuals. The portfolio states that the video helped foster renewed commitment among existing donors and sparked interest among potential funders.

“The BIGSIX MEDIA team was a pleasure to work with. Andrew brought a clear vision to the table and skillfully brought it to life in a way that made a real impact. His talented team was organized, detail-oriented, and told the story of our community centre in a positive and meaningful way. Their genuine passion for their work and dedication to supporting non-profit organizations truly stood out. I would definitely work with Andrew and his team again!”
